Carol Lee King Mullins

Carol Lee King Mullins, 68, of Jonesville, VA passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Holston Valley Hospital. She was born in Lee County, VA on February 28, 1953. She was preceded in preceded in death by her foster mother, Betty Banner, a sister-in-law, Dorothy Woods, a brother-in-law, David Laws Sr. and her mother and father-in-law, Cardell and Ruby Mullins. Carol loved her church, Beech Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member. She also was an avid fan of Lee High Sports, supporting and watching her son and later her grandson. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Carol was a cosmetologist all her life. She was a 1972 graduate of Jonesville High School. Carol is survived by one son, Jonathan Mullins and wife Chanda; grandson, Chandler Mullins; one sister, Kathy Laws; nieces and nephews, Debbie Bailey, Jeff Mullins, Tammy Hines, Kim Crabtree, Marsha Nickodam, Chris Sexton, David Laws and Justin Laws; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brenda Cowden, Jack and Linda Mullins, Peggy and Steve Sexton; and several extended family members and host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, at Robinette Funeral Home in Jonesville. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Josh Leonard officiating. Music will be under the direction of Wayne Denson, L.J. Ellis and Leslie Leonard. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Millers Chapel Cemetery. Anyone who would like to travel in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Donovan Willis, Chris Sexton, David and Justin Laws, Matthew Bailey, Jeff and Josh Mullins. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Beech Grove Baptist Church, 592 Beech Grove Road, Jonesville, VA 24263.
