Susan Ileen Wallen

Susan Ileen Wallen, age 64, of Blackwater, VA, entered into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness, surrounded by her loved ones. Susan was born on April 14, 1958 in Plymouth, Indiana. She had a heart of gold and genuinely cared for everyone she came in contact with. She never failed to find a sarcastic comment for any situation and had the ability to lighten up any room. Susan loved her girls and her grandchildren more than life. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Edward C. and Sandra Woodard; one brother, John Edward Woodard; one infant sister, Mary Christine Woodard and a host of family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Billie K Wallen; her two daughters, Kelli Page and husband, Travis of Duffield, VA and Kandice Wallen and Thomas Baker of Dryden, VA; two grandsons, Chrisitan Baker and Xander Page; the son of her heart, Schott Rhoton and wife, Cynthia; her sister, Jeaneen Riggs (Jim); sister-in-law, Kimberly Woodard and a host of many special nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Robinette Funeral Home in Blackwater, VA. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Glen Hurd officiating. A graveside service will follow in the Willis Cemetery in Blackwater, VA. Pallbearers will be Travis Page, Scott Rhoton, Jim Riggs, Tyler Blevins and Justin Woodard. Honorary pallbearer is Christian Baker.
