Rosemary Montgomery
February 6, 1940 - February 2, 2020
She fought a Warrior’s Battle and Won with Honor on February 2, 2020- 02-02-2020. Rosemary. Born February 6, 1940 in Rose Hill, VA. A daughter of The King and loving parents. A sister who loved her brothers, and her sister, and she was loved. A beloved Auntie. Adored Wife, Loving Grandmother and Mother. Rosemary was dedicated to her service for The Lord and She loved to play, sing, and write music about Heaven. She dreamt of seeing her loved ones who’d gone up ahead, the streets of gold, and crystal sea. But, most of all she longed to cross Jordan and bow at the feet of Jesus. And now, her race is won. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. She is preceded in death by her parents Conda & Sara Effie Cox Long. Brothers Kenneth Long & Ralph Long, and husband, Chester Montgomery- all of Rose Hill, Va. She is survived by her brothers, Rev. Robert Charles & Shelby Long of Ewing, VA, Glen & Agnes Long of Jackson, Michigan & Sister, Lois Ann Long Hensley (David) of Harrogate, TN. One son, Terry Martin & Granddaughter, Nikki Martin Torbett (Darryl) Of Florida. 2 Great Grandsons Dalton Langley of Rose Hill, VA, & Dylan Torbett of Florida, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, step-children & grandchildren, cousins, extended family and special friends both near & far. She is greatly loved & missed by her Church Family at Boone Trail Trinity Tabernacle, in Ewing VA, of which she was a member for 45 years, as well as her brothers & sisters of Balls Chapel Pentecostal in Rose Hill, VA.
