Hugh "Buck" Eldridge

January 28, 1975 - January 28, 2022

Hugh “Buck” Eldridge, born January 28, 1975, walked into Heaven’s gates on January 27, 2022; one day before his 47th birthday. Buck was born and raised in Jonesville, VA, enjoying his life to the fullest, loving every moment of every day with his family and friends and being a “Pop-Pop”. Buck loved farming, especially tending to his cattle, putting up hay and going to “Cattle Store” as Buck called the Cattle Market. Buck enjoyed attending Christian Life Fellowship, especially Thursday night “Life Group”. He is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Emma Grace Eldridge. Buck is survived by his loving wife, Billie Eldridge; daughters, Faith (Kalab “Jazzy”) Ferrell of Smithville, TN and Paige Eldridge of Culleoka, TN; step-son, Cody (Taylor) Napier of Jonesville, VA; grandchildren, whom he cherished dearly, Chance, Hancle, and Stella Napier, and Madelyn “Erma” Ferrell; his parents, JoAnn and JC Eldridge of Jonesville, VA; brother, Stoney (Kirsti) Eldridge of Wise, VA; a host of nieces and nephews; special family, Judy and Bernie Jerrell and a host of family and friends left to cherish his memory. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Robinette Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Emory Minton officiating. A graveside service will follow in the Millers Chapel Cemetery in Jonesville, VA. Pallbearers will be Cody Napier, Kalab Ferrell, Jordan Thrasher, Gary Vaughan, Wayne Marcum, David “Spider” Combs, Brad Pennington and Stoney Eldridge.
