Donald "Don" Lee
April 18, 1946 - January 30, 2022
Donald Lee, 75, of Ewing, VA passed away on January 30, 2022 at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He was born April 18, 1946 to the late Manford and Fannie (Saylor) Lee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles Lee, Manford Lee Jr., Billy Lee, Dennis Lee, Bobby Lee, and four sisters, Faye Monday, Joy Radvansky, Velma Harrell and Geneva Neal. Don was a very proud husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family. Don was a hard worker who was a self employed truck driver for many years, was a former teacher at Thomas Walker High School and served as Lee County's first building inspector. He attended Lincoln Memorial University. He enjoyed telling a good joke, having a good laugh and playing a good game of cards with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife of nearly 56 years, Linda Lee; one son, Todd Lee and wife Kristy, of Rose Hill, VA; daughter, Emily Stanley and husband Devin, of Vicenza, Italy; grandchildren, Dustin Lee, Dylan Lee, Dawson Lee, Bryce Stanley, Sydnee Stanley, Seaton Stanley and Kallen Stanley; brother, Lewey Lee and wife Brenda; sisters, Ruth Lee and Lois Bailey; special niece, Pam Pridemore (Malachi Mitchell); and many other nieces and nephews and extended relatives. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2022, at Robinette Funeral Home in Rose Hill. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Frank Turner officiating.
