Charlie A. Crumley
November 12, 1932 - February 20, 2020
Charlie A. Crumley of Ewing, VA, passed away on February 20, 2020. Preceded in death by his parents, Maggie and Robert, he was born on November 12, 1932. Charlie was survived by his wife, Barbara, daughter, Melinda (son-in-law Andrew) and son, Charles (daughter-in-law Frances). He had eight grandchildren: Aaron, Alexandra, Catherine, Elizabeth, Grace, Sarah, Gabriel and Christian. He was preceded in death by three brothers and sisters, Fugate, Elmer, Hugh, Jean, Opal, Cleo and was survived by one sister, Alice Brooks of Maynard, Tennessee. He was survived by several nieces and nephews. Charlie served his country in the United States Army and was a member Brethren Church of Ewing. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Rose Hill, the 32nd Degree Scottish Right Mason Lodge and a Shriner of the Kerbela Temple of Knoxville, TN. Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 23 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Robinette Funeral Home located at 207 DeRoyal Industries Drive, Rose Hill, Va. Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24 at 11:00 am at Robinette Funeral Home followed by grave side interment at Jones Cemetery, Ewing, Va. Masonic honors will be conducted by the Martin’s Station Masonic Lodge #188. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support shown to the Crumley family.
